This is a Tier 1 Pickleball Australia sanctioned tournament.
This tournament will use the current Global Pickleball Federation rules. They can be found at: https://globalpickleballfederation.org/pickleball-rulebook/

Saturday 7 November - Gender Doubles
Sunday 8 November - Mixed Doubles
THIS TOURNAMENT IS HELD ON OUTDOOR COURTS - PLAYERS AGREE TO BEING AVAILABLE ALL TWO DAYS OF TOURNAMENT 7:30 AM - 9PM IN CASE OF SCHEDULE DELAYS DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE
You can play in more than one event during the tournament but all events need to be in a different categories e.g. Mixed Doubles, Doubles,Team Breaker
Players are guaranteed minimum three games per event. Medals will be awarded to gold, silver and bronze winning competitors in each bracket.
REGISTRATION
Registrations Open: September 29 2026
Registrations Close: October 30 or earlier if capacity is reached.
The registration fee is $80.00 which includes entry into one event. Each additional event is $30.00 per event. Players may enter a maximum of 3 events.
Participants must have an account that is linked to a current PA membership and DUPR account.
Players may enter a doubles event without a partner but It is the responsibility of the participant to source a partner and have them enter to secure a position.
PLAYER ELIGIBITY
Players may enter age events based on their age as at Dec 31 2026. Singles and Doubles skill based events will be based on a players appropriate singles / doubles DUPR rating at the close of registration.
WAITLIST
Doubles: players will automatically be allocated a position in the main draw, UNLESS the event is at capacity. Teams who have both players enter the event, will be prioritised over a player who fails to secure a partner. Teams that do not have both partners registered will be moved to the waitlists after 7 days. Teams will only be moved back after both teams are entered if the main draw is not full.
At the close of registration the Tournament Director will determine if waitlisted players can/cannot be added to the event based on venue capacity at any given time.
TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR DISCRETION
The tournament director reserves the right to:
- Review, and possibly alter the rating of players who self-rate below or above their actual rating.
- Move players and teams between skill level brackets if on verification the wrong event has been entered.
- Merge Events with 4 or less entries with another event of closest possible standard.
- Change start times to facilitate smooth running of the tournament.
- Modify events and/or schedules as required due to influences beyond our control (ie. extreme weather).
- Accept/reject waitlisted player entries after registration close based on venue capacity at any given time.
EVENT FORMATS
All events will be played using a Round Robin format. The top two performers from each pool (four if one pool) will go through to a single elimination pre-medal knock out draw. Winners of the semi finals will compete in the Gold medal match and semi final losers will compete in the bronze medal match.
Gender Doubles, Mixed Doubles will use the traditional scoring method and the below game formats:
First to 15, win by 2 [5 or less players/teams in the pool]
First to 11, win by 2, [6 or more players/teams in the pool]
Pre- Medal (semi finals & quarterfinals), first to 15, win by 2.
Medal matches will be best of 3 games, first to 11, win by 2.
COURT ALLOCATION AND RESULT ENTRY
This tournament will be using the messaging service for match & court allocation and digital scoresheets. Please ensure your profile is up to date prior to the tournament. On tournament day don't forget to sign in at the desk and bring your phone and reading glasses to read your draw and enter your results.
EVENT DETAILS
The venue has 30+ taped outdoor courts and Franklin X40 balls will be used.
An onsite canteen will be available for all your nutrition and hydration needs each day from registration open to the last Gold match on court.
Ample parking is available in and around the facility
PHOTOGRAPHY
It is a condition of entry that all attendees understand that they may be photographed or filmed at the event and that these images may be stored and used by PAA, NTPC or our sponsors on websites, social media and other purposes without express permission or payment.
LIVE STREAMING
Live video and audio of matches will be recorded and broadcast online. Recording equipment at matches may record your image, voice and other identifying features. Please observe appropriate standards of behaviour, conduct and language in or around the live streaming devices, whose presence will be marked by signage at the match.
Withdrawal up to the close of registration will get a full refund less $10 admin, stripe and pickleball.com fees
No refund will be given after the close of registration unless a player withdraws prior to their first event due to medical reasons. Participants must contact the TD through the Contact Tourney button and provide a medical certificate prior to the event start.
This is an outdoor venue, in the event of weather postponement or force majeure- all care will be given to complete events but in the case of forced cancellation, no refunds are given.
