The Victoria Pickleball League (VPL) is where grassroots pickleball steps up.
Represent your local club in Victoria's interclub, home-and-away competition, bringing together players, teams and venues from across the state.
Built on community and fuelled by competition, the VPL grows the game from the ground up, giving players at every level a genuine pathway towards the national stage.

SEASON 1 — THE DETAILS
- Season Starts: Sunday, 29 November 2026
- Match Times: Sundays, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Competition: Home-and-away fixtures across participating clubs
- Divisions: Combined DUPR 13, 15 and 17
- Teams: 8 teams per division
- Season Format: 7 regular-season rounds + 2 weeks of finals
- Team Entry: $1,000 per team for the season
- Team Uniform: Official club team shirt for every registered player
CHOOSE YOUR DIVISION
Three divisions designed to bring together players of similar abilities:
DUPR 13 | DUPR 15 | DUPR 17
Each division has a maximum combined DUPR rating, calculated using the four players competing in each fixture.
Whether you're entering your first interclub competition or looking to test yourself against Victoria's strongest players, there's a division for your team.
TEAM ENTRY — $1,000 PER SEASON
The team entry fee covers the full season, including regular-season fixtures, finals eligibility and four official club team shirts.
With a minimum of four players per team, the entry fee works out to $250 per player.
Want a bigger squad? No problem! Teams can register additional players to share the season's matches and costs. Each additional player requires a $40 team shirt, with no maximum roster size.
MATCH DAY FORMAT
4 Players. 3 Doubles Matches Each. 6 Matches Per Fixture.
Each Sunday, your club selects four players to represent your team.
Every player partners with each of their three teammates once, creating six doubles matches against the opposing club.
- 4 players per team each round
- 3 doubles matches per player
- 6 doubles matches per team fixture
- Best of 3 sets to 11
- Results submitted to DUPR
It's not just about having the strongest player. It's about building the strongest team.
HOW TO ENTER
1. Pick Your Club
Choose which participating Victorian pickleball club you want to represent.
2. Choose Your Division
Select DUPR 13, 15 or 17 based on your team's combined DUPR rating.
3. Build Your Team
Recruit your teammates and form your squad. A minimum of four players is required, with additional players welcome.
4. Register Online
Submit your team registration through the official VPL website (https://vplpickleball.com.au/register). Your chosen club will then enter your team into Lader, our official league management platform.
Player Eligibility: All players must have an active DUPR profile and a valid Pickleball Australia or Pickleball Victoria membership.
