Groups puts your pairs into small groups. Each group plays its own round robin, and the standings decide who comes out on top. This session already has its pairs, so let's set it up.
Matches Setup opens Session Setup: two quick choices. Who plays together? Choose Fixed pairs. Then choose Groups, and click Continue.
Your pairs are on the left. Click Add Group for each group you want. Then drag the pairs into the groups, or use Auto-Placement. Randomize spreads them out evenly.
Seed Serpentine, in the same menu, places the pairs by seed instead. You set seeds with Manage Seeds.
Now the settings on the right. Match type sets how many games each match is. Then choose how much each group plays: every pair plays the others in their group, once or more, or a fixed number of matches.
Under Courts, Assign automatically is already on: when a result comes in, the next match is called to the free court. Set how many courts you have, and use the pencil to name them.
Click Generate Matches. The matches appear in Preview, already on courts, and only you and your fellow organizers can see them.
Leah's partner isn't known yet, so their pair plays as Leah and TBD. Add the partner on Session Players when you know who it is.
When it all looks right, click Publish Matches. Your players can now see their matches and courts, and the standings update with every result.
That's it for this video. Next up: running singles Groups.
